 4.  What type of shows do you offer?  How are these shows  defined? Genre

     A class or category of artistic endeavor having a particular form, content, technique, or the like.

General Definitions:  

 Non-Turnkey Ship Shows:  The traditional Americana-Style Display where the Sponsor is the primary facilitator of their own event. 

1. Western prepares a cogent proposal itemizing the various types of pyrotechnics to be used, instructions regarding local, state, and federal regulations, and NFPA guidelines.  Western delivers the pyrotechnics to the client directly. 

2. Non Turnkey clients must have the following: their own licensed technician; the client must apply and procured for all applicable permits; the client must possess an approved storage location for the pyrotechnics; the client must have acceptable insurance coverage; the client must have a safe, secure, and approved firing location.

Turnkey Non-Choreographed Displays:  This full-service Americana-Style Display is crafted and implemented by Western Enterprises.  The display is not fired to music nor is it choreographed. 

1. Western Enterprises provides the following services for this special event: licensed technician and crew, site determination and plot plan, complete insurance coverage, transportation of pyrotechnics, all equipment including pyrotechnics and staging materials, procurement of all permits, and other relevant services rendered necessary for the success of your event. 

2. Western prepares a cogent proposal itemizing the various types of pyrotechnics to be used as well as the scope of services to be provides, and client responsibilities.

   1. Turnkey Non-Choreographed shows that are Hand Fired (with or without background music) are Aerial Displays.

   2. Turnkey Non-Choreographed shows that are Electrically Fired (with or without background music) employ the following genres:

Turnkey Choreographed Displays:  The choreographed display involves the creation of a musical and narrative score, separated by distinctive Acts, and is usually produced by Western in conjunction with a ratio station as part of an on-air simulcast. 

1. The choreographed display begins with a musical score that is approved by the client, and then the score is digitally formatted DAT or CD, complete with approved and customized client narration and thematic statements.  The music is then designed and choreographed into a unique and encompassing production script illustrating product selection and musical score firing cues.
